Manakitanga (Kindness) is designed as a connection to Papatuanuku and a celebration of life

It contains –

Pohutukawa for the constant hononga (connection) we feel to home and its sense of spirituality

Harakeke to represent whanau (family) and the whakamarumaru (protection) and care for those loved

Kowhai to symbolise rakau o te ora (tree of life)

Ma Chrysanthemum represent mihi (grattitude) and pononga (honesty)

Karaka Lily for the gift of confidence and pungao (energy)

Manuka for hauora pai (good health)

Pango(black), whero(red), ma(white) symbolise unity between the world of spirits, of people and nature. Using other natural colourings to reflect the colours of Papatuanuku. Na te aroha
